Wash Care for Cotton Sarees

Cotton is tend to loose its colour gradually due to hand processing of printing. It is advisable to follow below wash technics for durability of cotton Sarees :

Before washing a Saree for the first time, Soak the Saree in bucket of warm water mixed with rock Salt for 30 minutes. By this colours will get more strong bound to fabric and it will prevent the further colour bleeding in next washes.Saree may shrink in first wash, even all Sarees are pre washed.Always wash cotton Saree separately so it doesn’t leave colour on other garments washed together.Mild detergent and hand wash are best for the cotton Saree wash.Before hanging the Saree on wire let the excess water drain.After wash, Starch is recommended for Sarees crispness. Always dry in shade, direct sun rays is harmful to hand processed colours.Please note, Cotton Saree will loose its colour gradually by washes.Store in airy box to avoid direct sunlight and humidity.
