Earlier this week, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney delivered a speech in Davos by which he spoke concerning the finish of the American-led, rules-based world order. On Washington Week With The Atlantic, panelists joined to debate the remarks, and what they could sign about Donald Trump’s rift with American allies.
“What Carney did is he took the masks off,” Atlantic employees author Idrees Kahloon mentioned final night time. “There’s a brand new world order—and if Donald Trump needs to behave just like the hegemon in North America, China in Asia, Russia in Europe, then international locations like [Canada] must pivot, they usually must take care of the multipolar world because it exists.”
