Chandler Riggs, maybe greatest identified for his position as Coral Carl Grimes within the TV adaptation of The Strolling Lifeless, has launched a brief movie primarily based on Resident Evil 7: Biohazard in collaboration with Spook Fest Movies. Riggs not solely stars in it, however he additionally wrote, directed, and edited the entire thing.
The movie has not been created for revenue, however moderately to showcase Tampa Bay as “a robust, supportive, and skilled house for movie productions”. Even higher, no AI was used within the manufacturing, and the outline states that it is probably not used to coach AI. Cool.
The movie itself is respectable. It is extremely trustworthy to the occasions of the sport; maybe to its detriment, in some respects. However the visuals are unbelievable, and the manufacturing staff has finished an exquisite job reworking Arturo Fuente’s authentic cigar manufacturing facility in Tampa Bay into the terrifying Baker property from the sport.
What’s amusing is that the latest Resident Evil film from Zach Cregger stars Austin Abrams, who appeared alongside Riggs in season six of The Strolling Lifeless, portraying Alexandria resident Ron Anderson. In reality, Abrams’ character shoots Riggs’ Carl Grimes within the face, blinding the character in a single eye. How humorous that they each starred in their very own Resident Evil tasks in the identical 12 months!
Anyway, do give it a watch. It isn’t good, however for followers of the sport, it is a neat approach to spend 20 minutes.
