Avengers: Doomsday continues to have MCU followers’ consideration, particularly in terms of what secrets and techniques and surprises the film might maintain. Avengers: Endgame Encore already gave audiences just a few teases with its 4 further scenes, which included Loki arriving at Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s home on the finish of the film, Physician Doom coming to gather Bruce Banner after the occasions of Spider-Man: Model New Day, and the TVA witnessing 1000’s of incursions and universes making an attempt to destroy one another, along with a short ending clip that confirmed Robert Downey Jr. creating the enduring Doom masks. Nonetheless, there are such a lot of rumors, theories, particulars, and questions that stay for the upcoming film, and these scenes had been (deliberately) removed from addressing all and even most of them.
Among the many extra urgent questions are two that followers are hoping will really be associated. The primary is whether or not fan-favorite character Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch will really be making her return following her seeming demise in Physician Unusual within the Multiverse of Insanity. It hasn’t really been confirmed that Wanda is coming again in any respect, however she’s a beloved character, and plenty of followers refuse to just accept that she’s actually lifeless and gone for good. Moreover, Doom has now repeatedly been depicted alongside three Latverian witches, one carrying purple, one carrying purple, and one carrying inexperienced. Already, rumors and theories had been rampant relating to who these mysterious witches might actually be, and now, a brand-new Doomsday poster has given followers some actually stable guesses.
Followers Suppose They Know Who These Witches Are (And It Would Be Nice)
There’s little or no doubt that the true id of those witches shall be saved secret till Doomsday, just like how Sadie Sink’s character being Jean Gray was saved below wraps till the discharge of Model New Day. There is just too a lot curiosity within the thriller; Marvel wouldn’t need to take followers’ curiosity down just a few pegs by providing such an enormous reveal forward of the movie’s launch. Nonetheless, followers have already got many guesses about who these witches might really be, and this new poster particularly has them theorizing on-line. Particularly, based mostly on the colours of their outfits, followers have begun speculating that this might be Clea in purple, Wanda/Scarlet Witch in purple, and Sylvie in inexperienced—all matching the colour of their magic.
It’s not stunning that followers consider the purple witch is Wanda; that has lengthy been the pervasive principle, and it simply reinforces that followers actually need this character again. It nonetheless feels slightly too good to be true, but it surely’s actually doable. Sylvie is a little more sudden as a guess, simply because she hasn’t hit the large display but, and he or she isn’t confirmed to be in Doomsday (though it appears probably that none of those witches’ actresses have been introduced, with the intention to preserve the key higher contained). Sylvie was final seen on the finish of Loki, which might additionally make it a bit stunning if she appeared right here, though with Doom gathering highly effective characters, Sylvie can be a stable alternative. Essentially the most sudden of the three guesses is Clea, as she has solely appeared as soon as and really briefly within the mid-credits scene in Physician Unusual within the Multiverse of Insanity.
It due to this fact feels unlikely to be Clea, however by no means say by no means, contemplating that this does have already got an MCU connection in principle. This may additionally show to be an fascinating—and terrifyingly highly effective—trio, so maybe Marvel would resolve on every of those three. It will likely be about two extra months earlier than audiences know for certain, assuming that we be taught their identities in Doomsday, however that’s unlikely to gradual the rumor mill anytime quickly.
