Warning! This put up comprises SPOILERS for Avengers: Endgame Encore.
Earlier this week, leaks on-line urged that Avengers: Endgame Encore was going to incorporate 4 further scenes, and though these leaks didn’t embody the , they did precisely element what occurs on the finish of the film and in Endgame Encore’s mid and post-credits scenes. Amongst them was a scene set after Bruce Banner’s Spider-Man: Model New Day story arc, which ended with him seemingly being taken to a psychiatric hospital after one other “incident” because the Hulk. In a mid-credits scene in Endgame Encore, nonetheless, Physician Doom arrives and “collects” Banner, little question taking him for use as a weapon towards the Avengers. Eagle-eyed followers have realized that this really suggests one other main element, although, this one about Peter Parker’s subsequent story within the MCU.
As defined by Marvel Mania on X, when Bruce is taken by Doom on the finish of Endgame: Encore, the tech round him begins glitching. The identical kind of glitch will be seen within the post-credits scene of Model New Day, through which the Spidey Tracker reveals that Spider-Man is now in area. Initially, that stirred up all kinds of rumors about why he could be there, together with a fan-favorite idea that this isn’t really the MCU’s Peter Parker however moderately is Tobey Maguire’s. But, with this new connection when it comes to the glitch, a brand new idea has emerged. Particularly, as detailed in the identical put up, it’s doable that the Spidey Tracker glitches in the identical manner that Banner’s tech does as a result of Physician Doom has kidnapped Peter Parker too. If true, this can be a huge affirmation not just for the Model New Day post-credits scene (which pissed off many followers by seeming insignificant) but additionally for Avengers: Doomsday.
What Does Doom Need With Banner and (Presumably) Peter?
Even now, we really know pretty little about Physician Doom’s intentions in Doomsday. Trailers for the film have urged that he’s coming after the Avengers as a result of they’ve messed with time, as he tells them they’ve been dwelling stolen lives and want to provide them again. With Anthony Russo’s latest feedback, plainly this may occasionally particularly reference Steve Rogers’ resolution to remain prior to now on the finish of Endgame. Both manner, given the truth that he shall be preventing the Avengers, it is smart for Doom to construct a crew to struggle beside him. Primarily based on him going to get Bruce Banner, it additionally appears possible that he intends to put whoever he takes beneath his management, presumably by magic. If true, then we may see a terrifying Hulk (and, maybe, a terrifying new Spider-Man) able to take down the MCU’s best heroes.
In fact, there are different characters many followers are hoping and even anticipating to see be part of Doom, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch chief amongst them. In gentle of how highly effective he’s, it’s conceivable that Doom may discover a strategy to deliver Wanda again, and there’s no query that he want to have somebody as highly effective as she is on his aspect. That also feels a bit too good to be true, however the probability of Peter becoming a member of Doom, undoubtedly towards his will, simply elevated fairly a bit.
