The trailer for the upcoming spy comedy Udta Teer was unveiled on Wednesday in Mumbai. The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan within the lead roles and is helmed by debutante director Akash A Kaushik. The movie’s premise of a Pakistani agent forgetting his mission in India has spawned chatter on social media. On the trailer launch occasion, Ayushmann mentioned he had no hesitation in taking part in a Pakistani agent within the movie.
Ayushmann Khurrana on Udta Teer
Udta Teer revolves round a Pakistani spy named Bilal Ahmad (Ayushmann), who enters India and suffers from reminiscence loss after an accident, mistakenly believing he’s an Indian spy.
Responding to a query on the trailer launch, Ayushmann mentioned, “It was a part of the script. As an actor, you might be able to do something. It is a spy comedy, a patriotic comedy, and a style bender. I do what the script calls for; I am a director’s child. It’s a unbelievable script.”
Ayushmann referred to as the position ‘essentially the most troublesome character’ due to how he needed to keep straight-faced amid all of the chaos and comedy taking place round him. The actor, recognized for movies like Thamma, Andhadhun, and Dum Laga Ke Haisha, mentioned, “It’s the most troublesome character as a result of issues had been taking place round him. I needed to have that straight face, although there have been moments after I felt like laughing, however I could not. I needed to be regular whereas there was chaos taking place round me.”
Sara Ali Khan opens up concerning the movie

Ayushmann credited director Akash A Kaushik for the weird story, calling it his ‘mind baby’.

Other than Ayushmann and Sara, the movie boasts of an ensemble solid together with Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Raghubir Yadav, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Smita Tambe, and the late Mukul Dev, amongst others. It’s Mukul Dev’s remaining posthumous efficiency.
