“For us, what it presents is a tricky cup tie however equally the truth that we have got it at Ibrox, at dwelling,” McInnes mentioned.
“We’re 90 minutes away from Hamden, we’re three video games away from lifting silverware. You have to beat the nice groups to win a trophy ordinarily and we have got a tricky sport.
“We have got to make it robust for Celtic as effectively and I believe they’re going to anticipate a tricky match and that is what we intend to present them nevertheless it’s bought all of the makings of a superb cup tie.
“We simply have to carry a efficiency now that provides us the prospect to win it after which hopefully progress by the match.
“In the event you win it, it should solely offer you a platform to the following one. You are at all times getting judged and there is at all times stress video games and that is the kind of sport that you just suppose individuals can have an opinion in your facet. I nonetheless suppose it is actually early on in a season to be making any rash judgements on any staff, good or unhealthy.”
McInnes went on to induce his participant to not “get caught up within the fixture”.
He defined: “It is simpler mentioned than achieved and usually while you suppose you have bought time to play, you usually do not and you have to transfer the ball shortly and be prepared for Celtic’s press, the depth.
“There’s numerous duels to be gained, there’s numerous particular person battles to be gained however a bit of fireplace and ice on the proper occasions may also help issues.
“We recognise Celtic are a superb staff who’ve been the principle title winners and the staff that is picked up extra trophies than every other membership lately.
“We simply need to guarantee that we give ourselves an opportunity to be related domestically once more when it comes to successful trophies and Sunday offers us an opportunity to take a step in the direction of that.”
