In a letter, the Chief Minister invited Mr. Kumaraswamy to Vidhana Soudha for a dialogue on June 26, stressing that the challenge was deliberate by the latter. “With respect to the Bidadi Township Undertaking began by you, I’m excited to debate the matter with you. I’m inviting you, together with 5 of your representatives, for a dialogue on June 26 at 11 a.m. in my workplace,” Mr. Shivakumar mentioned within the letter.
Mr. Kumaraswamy wrote again to the Chief Minister saying that he’s occupied with pre-planned programmes on June 26, and requested that the assembly be postponed by a day to June 27. Nevertheless, he expressed dissatisfaction with the proposed venue and mentioned that Mr. Shivakumar ought to contemplate internet hosting the assembly both in Bidadi or Bairamangala.
Mr. Kumaraswamy cited that Vidhana Soudha can’t accommodate a lot of individuals and that holding the assembly in both of the locations proposed by him would create a possibility for the aggrieved farmers and stakeholders to share their views and focus on the matter to take it to a logical conclusion.
The alternate of letters comes after the 2 leaders, each having connections with Bidadi, challenged one another to an open dialogue, a course of that has been going backwards and forwards over the previous month.
Earlier within the day, Mr. Kumaraswamy addressed a press convention and recalled the statements made by Congress leaders in 2007, opposing it, when the Bidadi Township was mentioned within the Meeting. He pointed to a contradictory stand that Mr. Shivakumar was taking at current.
This comes as a rebuttal to Mr. Shivakumar’s repeated statements that the Bidadi Township was deliberate by Mr. Kumaraswamy himself, who’s now opposing it.
