180 Studios' Paradigm Shift exhibition explores transferring picture tradition

The exhibition attracts from avant-garde cinema, TV, music video, efficiency, style, gaming and web tradition.

Works by Mark Leckey, Andy Warhol and Nan Goldin all function as a part of Paradigm Shift, a serious new exhibition about transferring picture tradition opening at London’s 180 Studios on Wednesday, 15 October 2025. Tickets can be found now from the 180 Studios web site.

The exhibition will see 180 Studios’ huge subterranean areas reworked to current a number of acclaimed transferring picture works from the Seventies to the current day, drawing from avant-garde cinema, TV, music video, efficiency, style, gaming and web tradition.

Curated by Mark Wadhwa and Dazed co-founder and CEO Jefferson Hack, the exhibition options works by Sophia Al-Maria, Meriem Bennani, Dara Birnbaum, Foday Dumbuya, Cao Fei, Tremaine Emory, Nan Goldin, Arthur Jafa, Derek Jarman, Julianknxx, Andy Warhol, Josèfa Ntjam, Pipilotti Rist, Martine Syms, TELFAR, Ryan Trecartin, Gillian Sporting and Mark Leckey, who’s represented by his 1999 basic Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore (embedded on the prime of the web page).

Paradigm Shift traces a number of revolutions inside transferring picture tradition by a number of new works commissioned by 180 Studios, which sit alongside iconic historic works that supply a view of paradigms shifted by artists who rebelled towards the established order utilizing the applied sciences obtainable to them on the time for each realisation and distribution of their imaginative and prescient.
